"Jack was engaging and smart. His talk not only gave us insights into his novel, but insights into our own thought processes. Not only was he a charismatic speaker, but his visits to classrooms inspired debate and further questioning. He raised the level of discourse with his visit."
— Jeff Symonds, English Teacher, The Branson School
"Jack's visit was an excellent way to expose young people to the ideas of the great thinkers. The students enjoyed discussing the ideas Jack presented using the excerpt from 'The Dream Weaver.' His presentation was very engaging and I can see that he is a fine teacher."
— Julia Reid, Head Librarian, Mercer Island High School.

"Like
Merlin and Arthur, Bowen's Old Man and Ian examine
important issues -- identity, God, good and evil,
love, ethics and morality, free will -- through a
series of highly inventive adventures. And that's
not all. Bowen takes on subjects such as capitalism,
Marxism, rights and duties, quantum mechanics, and
even Fuzzy Logic, explaining concepts simply and expertly
through dialogue, story, and compelling narrative."
"The Dream Weaver is a philosophical odyssey that tackles the mysteries of life, of science, and of the meaning of reality."
--- Susanne Pari, author of The Fortune Catcher
